What Fadehaus is

A two-sided app for haircuts

Clients use it to find barbers and shops near them, browse services and prices, and book a chair in a few taps, with availability that is live rather than a guess.

Barbers and shops use the same app to run their side of the counter: their profile, services, working hours, appointments, and walk-in queue, plus simple analytics on how the business is doing.

The barbers and shops on Fadehaus are independent businesses. We are the booking platform that connects you; the cut itself is theirs.

Why we built it

Booking should feel as good as the haircut

Too often it means phone tag, a clunky form, or showing up to a full chair. We wanted something quieter and more certain: open the app, see who is near and actually free, and book without the friction.

For barbers, we wanted the opposite of a heavy back office. A clear calendar, an honest queue, and payouts that just work, so the tools stay out of the way of the craft.

Where this came from

Finding a good barber is easy. Actually booking one is the hard part.

For years, keeping a chair meant a saved DM thread, a screenshot of someone's hours, and a text sent into the void hoping Saturday was still open. Half the time you found out it wasn't by showing up. The cut was always worth it. Everything around the cut was not.

Fadehaus started as the tool we wished existed: open an app, see who is near and actually free, and book without the back-and-forth. Nothing flashy, nothing that gets between a barber and their work. Just a calmer way to hold the chair. We are starting one shop at a time, and building it the way we would want to use it.
